Hi all, I've been banging my head against the screen for a while, I can't seem to figure out why the carriage return isn't working in python.

For example, when typing

print('hello\rworld')

hello should be overwritten by world and only world should show up.

Currently, there is no discernible difference between

print('hello\rworld')

and

print('hello\nworld')

Both print

hello

world

What am I missing here?
