Dialect or derivative of Scheme that includes an optional static type system among other special features.
Racket lang support would be great! This could make me use iPad Pro rather than the clumsy laptop to do the development.
Racket please! Long time fan of Racket here.
Yes!! I am a huge fan of Racket and use repl.it all the time, this would be huge news for me. I'm so excited!! What can I do to help this be more probable?
Please note that the description of Racket as 'Dialect or derivative of Scheme' was true in 2005 when is was called PLT-Scheme, but a lot has changed since then.
It is now an ecosystem of development tools and language development system.
This would be great! Racket is a leading Lisp to use for all sorts of algorithmic work.
This would be so awesome
ITS NOT RACKET!!! ITS DR.RACKET!!
@maincontact: The name of the language is Racket. Dr. Racket’s the IDE.
@maincontact: Drracket would be awesome but I don't think the repl.it platform will support DrRacket - which is a shame because what looks like a teaching IDE actually has all the features you expect from a industrial IDE, as well as features not available in *any* other IDE. e.g. Futures visualiser for parallel programming - https://docs.racket-lang.org/future-visualizer, or the macro debugger -https://docs.racket-lang.org/macro-debugger
Racket does have a command line repl that works seperately from DrRacket and is the same way as the other repls on this site.
racket -i (linux/unix/macos) or Racket.exe --repl (windows)
@maincontact: I should add that you can run DrRacket via rollApp: https://www.rollapp.com/app/drracket
